Wellbeing

It refers to the quality of life, spanning the attitudes, current experience and outlook in each aspect of life – mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, financial and relationships, including our perception of ourselves (self-esteem) – resulting in being physically comfortable, healthy and happy.

As good stewards we are to care for the residence of the Holy Spirit –
our bodies – attending to their legitimate needs while also accepting
their mortal limitations (1 Cor 6:19; Eph 5:29). Aim to eat a balanced
diet (without over eating), keep active, have adequate sleep, refrain from

harmful substances and fill your mind with good, wholesome thoughts (Phil 4:8). Talk about the positive things in life and look beyond yourself – helping others helps our self-esteem.

David praised God “who delights in the well-being of His servant” (Ps 35:27). The elderly apostle John wrote, “I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well” (3 Jn 1:2). Spiritual health is vital to our wellbeing.

A 'fit' body is more favourable to serving and glorifying God with numerous products at our disposal to improve and maintain our health including preventative measures.
