This character quality involves fulfilling your responsibilities even when you don't feel like it, it is costly or not to your advantage; it is standing firm and
not being turned aside (Ps 15:4; Eph 6:13; Phil 1:27-30). Be faithful in honouring your commitments, for failing to fulfill a task may seriously disrupt a
whole process of interrelated tasks – a chain is only as strong as its weakest link. We should be observant and monitor the people and ‘chains’ around
us, creating safeguards and backup plans wherever there may be problems.

God and His word are totally reliable and dependable (Ps 33:4). He does not change (Num 23:19; 1 Sam 15:29; Mal 3:6). Our credibility as Christians, is challenged if we are not faithful in living the life we profess and do not honour any commitments we have made. Paul instructed Timothy to choose dependable teachers to accurately pass on
